ICE PRINCE FT. KOREDE BELLO - CHIKE (CRITIQUE)
Ice prince Chocolate City's signed rapper posted the photo art of the song 'chike' on instagram recently.
It is a duet done with Mavin record's artist Korede Bello, the artist behind the popular anthem “God win". The photo art is so catchy that no one would hesitate to google the song and download it immediately, that's obviously the power of a good photo art.
The genre of the song is really not placeable but its a kind of gyration jam with all the necessary components like the percussions that are always affiliated with kergite gyration in campuses, although I kinda strained my ears to
Hear the bottle sound but it was nowhere to be found in the mix, however, the wooden gong sound augmented for that. Other sounds includes synths the bass guitar.
In terms of composition, it sounds more like a freestyle on a sample beat than a written song.
In the mixing aspect, I think the autotune/vocoder effect was a little bit higher than it should be, which made the vocals (specifically Korede's) sound a little bit robotic, which is in contrast with how a gyration mix should actually sound (Natural).
The moods of the arts portrayed by the way they sounded showed that they were very happy and excited and had a good time doing the song together, as the song is all about how they became rich and famous through music.

WHY SOME NIGERIANS THINK NIGERIA HAS NOTHING TO OFFER
Without any regret or remorse, some Nigerians say that Nigeria has nothing to offer her citizens. This is obviously because a huge percentage of her population have nothing to offer her. Its simply garbage in, garbage out. Can you mention one significant input have contributed to the transformation of Nigeria's economy? just one!.
Now I see the reason why every country/nation is usually affiliated with the feminine gender (her, she).
Every espoused woman needs to be told how wonderful she is, she needs protection, she needs to be provided for, she needs prayers, she needs love and care, she needs a man she can trust with her life and all that she has, she needs respect from her man. Love covers all these. Its saddening that most Nigerians are playboys to their own country, being corrupt in little and grievous ways, expecting her to be submissive to them meanwhile they've made her heart bitter and the only way she can react is what has resulted to what we are facing today as a nation. Let's start with the civil/public servants. Do you always put down the correct time you get to work when signing the attendance register?, do you manipulate figures when awarding a contract?, do you see a golden privilege to serve at any capacity as a duty or an opportunity to cunningly get your own share of the national cake? Do you give or take bribe, with the mindset that bribe makes things faster and easier in this part of the world? Do you indulge in examination malpractice or bribe lecturers, thinking that's a shortcut to academic excellence?. Refrain from such acts and urge others to refrain as well, that is the way forward. When I was a school boy, we used to recite the national pledge during assembly, and whenever it gets to that part that says “to serve Nigeria with all my strength" I usually hear some of the pupils say “to serve Nigeria is not by force" and if one peradventure asks them why they're misquoting the national pledge, they would ask rudely “what has Nigeria done for me?, is Nigeria paying my fees?", and the next thing that may follow if one tries to correct that impression, could be abuses. Ask not what Nigeria can do for you but what you can do for Nigeria. Remember Nigeria is a lady and you are her man. She has lots of love to offer, but the bitterness in her heart, as a result of the heartbreak she has suffered from most Nigerians is seriously constraining her affection. so #showNigeriaSomeLove and she'll be friendly to you.

CHERERENCHE BY SURANO, COULD THIS BE THE NEXT WOJU BY KISS DANIEL? FANS ASK.
Still remember when you were a kid and you won a football match or went for a cross country in secondary school and all you could hear was that chant "cherenche, Obi"?.
This song is a victory song of love which happens to be the first official single of this star in the making (surano). He called this hit single chererenche, it was produced by M-free. The jam is a wedding song released officially by EXTRAORDINARY HE ENTERTAINMENT on the 5th of october 2015 With so manny positive feedbacks from friends and fans that downloaded. Well, I've been asked to do a music critique and analysis on this one, and here it goes:
Cherenche is what I can call a jam of the year, a national anthem in the making, and a lovely wedding song. Believe me, I won't hesitate to say otherwise if it wasn't so. Although it happens to come from an upcoming artist, the artist did justice to the instrumental with a unique voice stamp, his voice doesn't sound like any other artist in the music industry, neither does his approach to voicing. He has a promising music carrier ahead of him if he keeps to being himself. After listening to the lyrics of the whole song, I asked the artist what is the meaning of KOP KNOR ME, his reply was it means fetch it for me (love portion) wow! what a line.
The instrumentation follows a similar progression with the popular hit song WOJU by Kiss daniel but this producer (M-free) really got creative with this beat as he incorporated some bass and lead synths and other techno samples in the verses that kinda altered the genre of this makossa/dance-hall song and made it sound like an electronic dance music in the verse parts even though the drum sounds and other rich underground percussion sounds still remain unchanged and makossa-like, I'll say that the producer kinda thought out of the box and that is really commendable. As for the lead guitar sound, you can't really tell if it was live lead or if it was played using a midi keyboard and a DAW's VSTI, but however it was played it was awesome. If I was asked to give a star rating, guess what I'll say?. Download, listen and comment, let's have you rate this music, its all about you. CLICK HERE TO DOWNLOAD
